The members of the BOISE HAWKS BOOSTER CLUB enjoy the sport of baseball and enjoy activities with others who share the same interests. As volunteers, members assist the Boise Hawks Baseball organization at games with promotions and activities, coordinate housing for the players, arrange a “Meet-the-Players Function” when the players arrive at the beginning of the season and present awards at the end of the season to players and coaches. Many club members share their homes with Boise Hawks baseball players as hosts to provide the players with a home away from home during the season at no cost to the players.

Monthly general meetings are usually held on the first Wednesday of every month, depending on the home game schedule. The meetings are open to all and include Club business and sometimes a guest speaker. Committee reports and future activities are discussed at the meetings. The Club raises funds to cover general operating expenses and the cost of the awards provided to the players and coaches by raffles, sales of special items, membership dues, and other means.

The BOISE HAWKS BOOSTER CLUB leadership attempts to schedule recreational activities for members’ enjoyment which may include picnics and trips to away-from-home games to support the Boise Hawks.The Club’s year culminate in October of each year with an annual business meeting. At this meeting, an election of new officers for the coming year is held. The term for officers and board members is one year.It is the goal of the Boise Hawks Baseball Booster Club to be an asset to the Boise Hawks Baseball organization and to assist them in any way possible while making it an enjoyable experience for it’s members.

ARTICLE I: NAME
The name of the corporation is Boise Hawks Baseball Booster Club, Inc. (hereinafter, booster club).

ARTICLE II: PURPOSES

Section 1. The purposes of the booster club are to:
a. Promote and support the Boise Hawks Baseball Club;
b. Provide for the pleasure and recreation of each member of the booster club;
c. Promote sociability and friendship among its members;
d. Manage and conduct entertainment excursions and social meetings of its members;
e. Assist baseball players of the Boise Hawks Baseball Club in locating housing;
f. Promote favorable public relations between baseball fans and management of the Boise Hawks Baseball Club;
g. Promote and encourage positive community relations on behalf of the Boise Hawks Baseball club; and
h. Recognize outstanding performances by management, players and others associated with the Boise Hawks Baseball Club, through awards and other appropriate recognition.

ARTICLE III: NONSTOCK CORPORATION
The corporation shall be non-stock and no dividends or percuniary profits shall be declared or paid to its members.

ARTICLE IV: MEMBERSHIP

Section 1. Upon payment of annual dues, any person(s) or corporation(s) interested in promoting and encouraging the Boise Hawks Baseball Club shall be eligible for membership.

Section 2. Membership Classifications:
a. Individual membership;
b. Family membership (two or more living in the same household); and
c. Corporate membership (Names of corporate members shall be listed in booster club communications).

Section 3. Current membership shall be valid from 1 November through 21 October of the following year. Each individual, family or corporate member shall pay such yearly membership dues as fixed by the Board of Directors at the annual meeting in October.
